Life as a frugal post-student

I’m a newly minted college graduate with a degree in creative writing. Frugal living has always been important to me, not only because it’s practical, but because it requires both creativity and common sense. As I made my way through college, I learned a lot about how to live well on a budget. As a writer in this economy, I’m probably looking forward to many years of just scraping by, so my devotion to frugality is probably not going to change. Lots of blogs about frugality focus on families, but I’d like to focus on the things I’m learning as a young person just starting out in the world and trying to enjoy life. I’m hoping to help others who often need to cook for just one or two people or those whose clothes are falling apart and can’t afford to replace them.

Here’s to living well and making the most of what little money there is. Hope you enjoy the blog and the frugal lifestyle. It’s surprisingly satisfying.
